Stawell is a railway station on the Melbourne – Adelaide rail line, located in the town of Stawell, Victoria, Australia.

The station was once served by V/Line as part of the service to Dimboola, which was withdrawn on 21 August 1993.[1] Today, the station retains its platform and station building, with interstate standard gauge trains passing it every day. For a number of years, local residents have called on The Overland to make Stawell an additional stop for the interstate journey.[2]

In October 2010, it was announced that The Overland would stop at the station, with services to commence on Monday, 11 April 2011. There will be a bus link to Halls Gap, and 64 seats will be available at V/Line fares. A $710,000 upgrade has been carried out to the station.[3]
